For a relaxing getaway, Burntisland offers a small sandy beach, a leisure centre complete with swimming pool and flumes,  local golf courses, diving school and small traditional High Street with trendy cafes, pubs and local shops as well as the funfair which stays all summer. The Highland Games is always on the 3rd Monday in July and offers a fun, traditional and lively occasion.

The beautiful Fife Coastal Path extends 117 miles and goes through Burntisland whilst the Binn Hill offers local walks and stunning views over the town and down the Firth of Forth. If you would prefer to walk the Coastal Path and get a lift back to the B&B, a pick-up can be arranged for a small charge.

Burntisland is also conveniently situated for other local attractions including 

St Andrews, Stirling, Inchcolm Abbey and Island, Deep Sea World, Dunfermline Abbey , Aberdour Castle, Falkland Palace and the beautiful Fife fishing villages.

If you are looking to enjoy the famous international Edinburgh Festival and Fringe or enjoy its sights and events all year round it is the perfect location for affordable accommodation with regular trains running to and from Edinburgh until late in the evening.
