Surrounding Area

Burntisland, along with its sandy beach, offers many activities including a leisure centre complete with an indoor swimming pool with flumes, local golf courses, water sports and a diving school. There is also a small traditional High Street with award  winning independent retailers and a range of cafes, pubs, hotels and take aways. Throughout summer there is a large funfair on the seafront and the town is also host to the Highland Games (3rd Monday in July) which is always a fun, traditional and lively occasion.

If you prefer to venture outdoors, the beautiful Fife Coastal Path extends 117 miles and goes through Burntisland. Instead of retracing your steps back to the B&B, a pick-up can be arranged for a small charge. For a more local walk, the Binn Hill is just up the road and rewards you with stunning views over the town and down the Firth of Forth.
